What Is A Learnership
A learnership is a structured learning program that combines theoretical classroom-based education with practical, on-the-job training. It is designed to provide individuals with the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to enter the job market and succeed in their chosen careers. Learnerships are typically offered by companies, organizations, and government institutions, and they provide participants with a nationally recognized qualification. In South Africa, learnerships are a popular way for young people to gain the skills and experience they need to enter the job market, especially in industries such as IT, engineering, and finance. Learnerships are typically 12 months in length, with participants receiving a stipend during the course of their training. What Is A Skills Program
A skills program is a short course which is made up of a smaller component of a qualification to full a skills gap within an organisation. These smaller components are aligned to specified unit standards and will carry the associated credits.
